My name is Joaquin Mestre, and I am an 11th-grader at Belen Jesuit. This summer, I will participate in the Belen Youth Missions trip to the Dominican Republic, and I couldn't be more excited. Our team will be living in a small village, where we will be hiking to dig in and attach pipes to connect the community to water. Access to clean water is something that we may take for granted, but in many parts of the world, it is a luxury. The Belen Youth Missions program is about more than just creating a water system. It's about building relationships and connecting with people who come from different backgrounds and cultures. We will be working alongside the people in the village, learning about their way of life, and sharing our own experiences. I know that this experience will be life-changing for me, and for the people that we will be serving.
But in order to participate in this amazing opportunity, I need your help. I am asking you to consider donating to help me reach my fundraising goal. Every donation helps, even the smallest amount. Your contribution will help to make a real difference in the lives of people who need it most. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and thank you for considering making a donation. I am truly grateful for your support, and I can't wait to share my experiences with you when I return from the Dominican Republic!
